Cancer doesn’t wait in line
Cervical screening is for anyone with a cervix aged 25 to 64. This can include the following people provided they have not had an operation to remove their womb and cervix (full hysterectomy);
- trans men
- people who are non-binary who were assigned female at birth
- cisgender women
Ovarian cancer is usually diagnosed after an internal pelvic examination at a hospital. It may also involve blood tests, ultrasound or CT scans or a laparoscopy.
All proceeds from this campaign will be going to a local charity – The old mill cancer foundation.
Our aim is to provide emotional and physical support. We achieve this by taking a holistic approach to help promote health and well-being. One of the ways we do this is through touch therapy. This includes reflexology, massage, reiki, crystals, hot stone therapy, bio-aura clearance and Indian head massage. All provided by qualified volunteers who are trained in holistic cancer care. Each therapy works well alongside conventional treatment, providing relief from side effects, boosting the immune system, relaxing the body and mind. – Old Mill Foundation
